Schell's Shower Fittings Series "Linus" with Many Different Models:

The fittings manufacturer Schell reliably fulfils the requirements of public and business shower areas in a completely new way with its new shower fittings series "Linus" for wall mounting and many variants to choose from. It corresponds to the ideal of many contractors, technical designers and architects in regard to water and energy conservation, as well as hygiene and design. Depending on the area of application, the high-quality shower fittings are available with an optional self-closing function or with an electronic touch control and in various models. Schell was the first German supplier to integrate thermal disinfection technology in some models as well as putting radar sensors directly in the fitting.

The purist, clear lines of the shower fitting series "Linus" embody optimum utility and make it strongly expressive in design, yet a pleasingly tasteful element in modern sanitary room construction. The high grade of vandalism protection is ensured by the front plates either in a square, merely 180 x 180 mm form or the rectangular form, 265 x 180 mm. They are optionally available in polished or chrome-plated stainless steel. The operating elements are of chrome-plated bronze.

Integrated Radar Sensors

The electronic versions have a control panel that is made of 6 mm thick safety glass that is let in flush with the front panel. Simply touching the On and Off symbols on the surface of the glass immediately activates the intelligent electronics system behind the safety glass. The water timer can be pre-set; the maximum duration is 180 seconds. The electronic ecological versions make a significant contribution to conserving water with a first in the German market - a completely new area monitoring function: The radar sensors behind the glass panel register the user's presence and stop the water flow automatically as soon as the user leaves the sensors' range. The water and energy savings potential of this fitting pays for itself, particularly in heavily-used shower areas, for example, in the washrooms of industrial operations, swimming pools, sports and recreational facilities, as well larger fitness and sauna areas in hotels and spa service areas.

Energy-Saving Models

The rectangular models with self-closing function or electronic touch control are additionally equipped with a manually operable temperature control for precision temperature setting. A hot water stop set to 38 ºC is integrated in the control and protects the people who are showering from scalding.

The electronic version for pre-mixed or cold water was designed with a smaller, square front plate. It does with-out the thermostat and thus without the option of thermal disinfection. Otherwise this fitting has all the advantages of its "big brother", including the area monitoring feature.

Convenience, water and energy savings are also provided by the square shower fitting "Linus" for pre-mixed water or mixed water with self-closing function and a simple temperature control button. It is suitable as an economical solution for smaller properties in which a lower investment level has priority.

Simple Assembly

The masterboxes are the foundation of the "Linus" system. The various modules are pre-assembled on the factory side, so that easy installation is ensured at the construction site. The fitting bodies are already integrated in the built-in wall units at the factory. Schell has a vandalism-proof shower head with a water jet control that fits in with its shower fittings range.
